Hope Chest

 

 

 

 

This was one of my first completed projects. It is a hope chest that I built for my wife when her and I were still dating. We are married now for 2 1/2 years and the chest still sits at the bottom of our bed. I guess that means that she likes it! It is made from oak with golden oak stain and all the trim pieces stained with dark walnut for some contrast. The inside has a sliding drawer made from cedar.
